Sequoia backed Food-Tech app, Faaso's which is present across parts of South and West India, is planning to enter Delhi-NCR by next week.
“We will be starting our Delhi operation on 15th April, as Delhi-NCR has the largest potential of the food space,” shared Revant Bhate, VP at Faaso's to Restaurant India.
The Pune based Start-up is also aggressively looking at expanding its footprints across India focusing on metros and tier-I cities.
The company is targeting at opening 200 outlets by the end of 2016.
“We are planning to open 30-35 fulfilment centres in 15 cities like Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Indore,” added Bhate.
The group has also raised $20 million (over Rs 120 crore) funding from Lightbox Ventures last month.
Fasso's will utilise the fund to expand its presence across India by March 2016. The fundraising comprises a $16 million equity investment by Lightbox and Sequoia, and a $4 million debt.
