Ambazari Lake to get floating restaurant

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in association with Tuli Group is planning to open floating restaurant on Ambazari Lake to promote tourism in the city.

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has assured to extend its support to the first-of-its-kind project in Central India. Speaking on the same, shyam Wardhane, Municipal commissioner, said, “It is a good proposal and aims to make Ambazari Lake and garden a popular destination. Tuli Hospitality Private Ltd has submitted a detailed proposal. The estate department is verifying the proposed project.”


Yug Tuli, Head, Tuli Group, said, "Floating bistro will be a stable structure in the heart of the lake and 250 metre away from the lake's bank. It will cover around 6,000 sq ft space on the lake water and will be able to accommodate 250-300 people.”
