Swiss Company Global Franchise Architects plans to Open New Chain in India

Global Franchise Architects (GFA) has confirmed its plans to bring a new chain of food outlets named The Donut Baker to India.
The planned US$12 million investment has opened its first shop in Bangalore this month selling donuts and other bakery products. They have a plan to open 39 more across the country by 2012. The Geneva-based specialty food company proposes to site the new stores in shopping malls, airports and IT parks. Started in 2004, GFA also owns Pizza Corner and Coffee World as well as other brands such as The Cream and Fudge Factory, Golden Pretzel and New York Deli.
