Suvidhaa plans to open 25,000 IT kiosks

Suvidhaa Infoserve Pvt. Ltd, a Mumbai based e-commerce services provider is planning to set-up 25,000 IT kiosks throughout the nation via franchise route by 2010. The company is also planning to increase the customer services offerings from its present count of 200 services.
The company aims at penetrating the deeper sections of rural areas along with its expansion in small cities and towns. As per the officials, the company will set-up around one lakh retail outlets within the next three years. All the outlets will be franchisee owned with an investment of around Rs 30,000 to 40,000.
Presently, the company operates about 15,000 kiosks across 450 locations. As per the officials, these are convenience outlets for customers that have demands for its services being offered. The company started its retail network in 2008 and offers services in 27 categories that include bill payments, financial services such as insurance premium payments, loan payments and lifestyle-related services.
