Philips to take its light lounges count to 50

Philips India, provider of lighting solutions, is all set to take its light lounge count from 40 at present to 50 by the end of this year. The new lounges will be opened through both company owned and franchised in Tier I cities, confirms a company spokesperson.
Philips has recently started rolling out exclusive light lounge stores through the franchise model, to make consumers experience home decorative lighting concept. The company is looking forward to expand its network to have 450 exclusive touch points with 400 shop-in-shops by the end of this year.
The retail format offers lighting solutions under segments of living room, study, bedroom, dining room, kids’ room, bathroom, starting at Rs 575 and going up to Rs 40,000.
