USA-based frozen yogurt brand, Yoforia has affirmed its presence in India by opening their third outlet on Carter Road in Mumbai. Yoforia India, owned by Yocurd Food Products Pvt. Ltd, is known for its unique and refreshing product and offers a healthier alternative to traditional dessert. The company’s previous stores are at Kolkata and Pune.
The brand is looking at extensive franchising and has a franchise model in place, ready for entrepreneurs to take ownership. Rahul Tibrewala, Director, Yoforia India confirmed these plans and shed light on the franchise model. “There are three different kinds of Yoforia franchises – kiosk and two kinds of cafés. The minimum investment for the kiosk which would include one or two vending machines is Rs 10 lakh. For the café serving beverages and yogurt, the area required is 250 sq. ft and an investment of Rs 20 to 30 lakh. The larger café includes food, beverages and yogurt, and will be spread over an area of 600 to 1,000 sq. ft and will need an investment of Rs 60 to 70 lakh,” informs Tibrewala. He further added that they are looking for driven entrepreneurs to take up the franchise and they could be from any background.
