Marc Cain, a Germany-based a women's luxury fashion brand plans to open five new stores in India during the financial year 2012-13. The company has signed VEMB Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd as its master franchisee for expansion.

VEMB Lifestyle already operates two ‘Marc Cain’ stores in Mumbai and would be opening the new store in south Mumbai. The brand plans to open two outlets in Delhi and one each in Hyderabad and Bengaluru to cater to the premium customer segment. The planned expansion will entail an estimated investment of about Rs 3-4 crore for each store.

Moreover, the Indian master franchisee has also launched the Marc Cain stores in Dubai and also aspires to open brand stores in Kuwait and Qatar.
