10th International Franchise and Retail show organised by Franchise India concluded successfully on November 4, 2012 with an Awards ceremony, which is considered India's Topmost Honour in franchising at Shangri La’s Eros Hotel.

The event is one of the country's biggest trade shows and a podium that offers excellent opportunity for the companies to exhibit their lucrative business opportunities.

The event was inaugurated by Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India Holdings Limited (FIHL), Charles Riotto, President LIMA Worldwide, Momir Popovic, President, Rainbow Worldwide and Jagdish Chhabra, Proprietor, Chhabra 555. The exhibition presented 14830 businesses. The show also featured conference comprising Entrepreneurial Summit 2012, Franchise Knowledge Series, Retail Knowledge Series and Brand Licensing grabbed the attention of numerous potential investors seeking partnerships with big brands across the globe.

The conference was inaugurated by Ritu Marya, Editor in Chief, FIHL, Vikram Bakshi, Managing Director, North and East India Mc Donald’s, Charles Riotto, President LIMA Worldwide, CK Kumaravel, Founder & CEO Naturals and Amit Gupta, CEO, S Chand Group.

On the concluding day, Shilpa Shetty, a Bollywood celebrity turned entrepreneur also visited the show to promote her brand and also launched a unique CSR initiative of Franchise India for ‘Mompreneurs’ at the awards ceremony.
