Edify plans aggressive franchise expansion

Edify Education a chain of pre-schools and schools is planning to launch 50 schools pan-India by 2015 via franchise route. The company is working on their plans of opening seven franchised schools in Andhra Pradesh in the next two years, confirms a company’s official.
The company is targeting at West Bengal and the north-eastern parts of the nation with cities like Kolkata, Guwahati, Siliguri, Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol and Kharagpur to open these schools. The company is also looking to expand in states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and other states.
Presently, Edify Education is operating through six franchised schools in India.
