Franchise India is new Indian Power Brand

Franchise India was awarded the title of Indian Power Brand at the glittering 'Franchise India presents Omaxe Power Brands Glam 2016' held in New Delhi. Also, during the event, Planman Media launched 'New Look' version of its News Magazine, 'The Sunday Indian'.

Amid the power packed function, Franchise India got felicitated and Gaurav Marya of Franchise India got inducted into the Hall Of Fame. The function was presided over by Najma Heptulla, Minister for Minority Affairs.

The guests of honor at the event that was conducted in association with Times Now and Gitanjali, included Sudhir Chaudhary - Channel Head and Editor in Chief of Zee News, Archana Dalmiya from the Congress, Chandan Mitra of BJP, Shahnawaz Hussain - current spokesperson of BJP and former Cabinet Minister BJP, Atul Kumar Anjaan - CPI - National Secretary, Arun Kumar - National General Secretary, JDU, D.P Tripathi - General Secretary, NCP, Manjari Fadnis - film actor, Gaurav Marya -Chairman, Franchise India, Mohit Goel - CEO of Omaxe and J.K. Mitra, former Dean of FMS.

Arnab Goswami who was inducted into the Power Brands Hall of Fame couldn't be present himself but sent a powerful message about the vision of Times Now while congratulating Planman Media for the re-launch of The Sunday Indian, a magazine he used to read himself.

Also, fashion designers Manav Gangwani and Mandira Wirk, A.K. Manocha - Chairman & Managing Director IRCTC, Amal Sinha - Director, Reliance Infrastructure, Amish Devgan -Editor of Zee Business, Ravish Kapoor of Ravish Kapoor Innovative Invitations, Mansi Bansal and Hanish Bansal of RG Stone, Paritosh Joshi- CEO India TV, Ambrish Kumar -Brand Marketing, Dainik Bhaskar, Sanjeev Aggarwal - CEO, Gitanjali, Sushil Kumar- Infosys- Head of Delhi, Alok Srivastava from IOCL, L.C. Meena - GM Marketing, LIC Housing Finance, K.M. Prashanth - AGM, NTPC and Pallav Mohapatra- Chief General Manager, State Bank Of India amongst many others.

The event saw brand owners of the most powerful brands of India receiving their honors for being present inside the special Power Brands 2015-16. It also saw the announcement of the '4ps Most Recognizable Brands of Indian Origin' and a select list of their brand owners being felicitated. The research was done jointly by IIPM Think Tank and Franchise India.
