Express Bike Works launches its 15th flagship store in India

Express Bike Works (EBW), a bike wash centre, celebrates the launch of its 15th flagship store in Kothaguda, Hyderabad. The store deals in resolving all kinds two wheeler related problems and is equipped with machines that can provide a quick bike wash in two minutes; it also offers 24X7 road assistance services.

EBW is backed by Mark Mobius and tied-up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to set up their franchise outlets within the fuel retail network across the country. EBW is running successfully at two locations each in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thrissur and one store each in Delhi, Pune, Nashik, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Dhanbad, Coimbatore and Hubli. They will soon be coming up with new stores at Cochin, Mumbai - West, Bhubaneshwar, Nagpur, Surat, Vijaywada and Mysore.

EBW helps conserve water as every wash consumes around 10 litres of water, which is recycled and around 90 per cent of the water is reused as compared to a conventional bike wash where 50-60 litres of water is wasted on each motorcycle, claims company. Furthermore, there is zero water or oil spillage and EBW uses biodegradable solvents for washing. Also, the price for a wash at EBW is equal to the amount one would spend at any local bike wash centre and that too in lesser time.

“Hyderabad being the new IT destination of India, the city has seen an upsurge in bike and two-wheeler users lately. All big brands have their exclusive outlets across the city and working professionals largely depend on two wheelers to commute and hence the need for quick and prompt service increases here. This creates a perfect market for us to establish and serve the bikers of the city.” says Niraj Taksande, co-founder of EBW.
